Our next club event is the GORILLA EASTER EGG HUNT - a riding challenge that is also about route planning, creativity and teamwork. They'll be a mass start on Sunday 20th April at 9am, with prize giving at 12ish that day at the Hare and Hounds ( though you can ride anytime between Friday 18th to Sunday 20th 9.30am). Full details will be posted on the website and advised by Rob Garratt later this week.

GORILLA ENDURANCE

Whilst you can see from Jemma Morrison photo that those riding on Sunday enjoyed the H&H sun terrace , there were some epic rides over the weekend.

Neil Ashton and Stafford rode the 226km Tour of Flanders Sportive taking in 2000m of elevation and notorious cobbled segments. Chapeau to you both.

Chris Mapp rode the Ronde van Brum a 242km (150 miles) route around the outskirts of Birmingham with 2700m (nearly 9000ft) of climbing , and Pete Edwards took the original Grand Day Out route from the Route Book section of the website to ride 211km solo. Well done lads.

QOMS and KOMS

Kelly Murphy picked up a couple of Strava crowns this week, Lotty Jackson picked up one and Adam Gale also picked up a KOM at the weekend. Jack Morrie Evans picked up a KOM in Ireland at the start of his cross Ireland and Scotland adventure . Chapeau.

The Solihull 2 up TT - Tony Satterthwaite memorial fundraiser is on Thursday 19th June.

THURSDAY RIDES
