WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING IN THE MONKEY HOUSE?

GORILLAS ABROAD

The first - self organised - Gorilla trip away this year that I've heard of went to Calpe at the weekend. Kelly Baker, Rachel Brown and Pip Mayo all stayed at the same hotel at the "official" trip did last year and had a great time riding some of the same roads - though looking at the photo below (taken by Páraic Scanlon on his his club ride on Sunday ) i think the better weather was in Birmingham!

KOMs

The only KOM I saw this week was for Paul Astin on the full Leasowes reverse segment, on his gravel bike.

SPRING CLASSIC

Remember to keep the date free - weekend of 29-30th March for the Spring Classic - it's a 100km route ridden by a team of 3, over either of those days ( your choice) . Please head over to the events page in the members area to fill out the team sign up sheet. If you are looking for a team use this sheet to find yourself a slot on a team.

GORILLA ZWIFT

Alex Cull is leading this weeks club Zwift ride on Wednesday at 6.30pm - a 30km Flatland loop . The Event has been set up in the Gorilla Cycling Club section of the Zwift companion app for you to click on to join . The band is on this week - i've double checked - to keep everyone together .

THURSDAY RIDES

The rides for Thursday are now up in the members area , all departing Hare and Hounds on York Road ,- 6 evening road rides leaving at 6.30pm , and 1 morning offroad ride leaving at 9.30am.
